Members of Biltmore Baptist Church Help Teach VBS for International Baptist Convention

Children of IBC ministers participated in VBS provided by Virginia Baptists.

Two members of Biltmore Baptist Church, a Dover church, helped teach VBS in Switzerland. The members of the International Baptist Convention had the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with each other. Their children were able to participate in Vacation Bible School.
Norma Evenson and Barbara Francis [members of Biltmore Baptist Church] joined other Virginia Baptists during the week of July 5th. Barbara taught three year olds, while Norma taught kindergarten children.
Partnering with strangers, even those from your own state, can be a daunting task. However, the rewards from a fruitful fellowship can be life changing as well. One of the greatest rewards is the satisfaction of providing ministers the opportunity to become refreshed and renewed. After teaching the children during the day, the Virgina Baptist team would have devotional time together.
Doing missions overseas is challenging enough, especially when transporting supplies from the United States. This team was able to have all the supplies they needed, and have fun teaching VBS. Switzerland is a beautiful country, but still demanded the rigors of ministry.
If your church is interested in doing a partnership mission project overseas, contact Craig Waddell at the Virginia Baptist Mission Board.
