RE: Dover Executive Committee meeting on October 14, 2008
We will next meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at North Run Baptist Church,
2100 Lydell Drive, Richmond.

Our agenda will include several recommendations and reports. We will consider endorsement of the proposed 2009 budget for action at the Annual Meeting. I expect a recommendation from the Mission Resource Recommendation Team (attached). I also expect a recommendation from the Partnership Missions Council re entering a partnership with Baltimore Baptist Association (a proposed covenant is attached). Among the reports, I look forward to hearing from at least one of our language congregations and from at least one church that received a partnership missions scholarship. We may also have other recommendations and reports.
You received a proposed calendar and draft budget with the mailing that announced the July Executive Committee meeting. If you have not already done so, please share (copies of) these with appropriate leaders as your church plans its calendar and budget for the coming year. Our budget may have some slight modifications before the Executive Committee and/or the Annual Meeting. Please contact the Dover Office or visit www.doverbaptist.org for the latest copies of the proposed 2009 calendar and budget.
If you lead one of our committees or councils and plan to have a report, it would help us–and the clerk–to have a written copy, especially if your report includes a recommendation(s). Anything you want the Dover office to copy for distribution to Executive Committee members should arrive at the Dover office not later than Monday morning October 13 (or, if mailed, must arrive by Friday, October 10). Thank you.
