Making the transition from school to life in “the real world” includes
learning how to use money. “20 Cents: Making Sense of Financial
Stewardship” offers some very practical wisdom for young adults on using
money well.
Entrust Federal Credit Union will sponsor the conference for people in
their twenties on November 14. Entrust has partnered with Central Virginia
Baptist Ministries, Needle’s Eye Ministries, Crown Financial Ministries,
Virginia Baptist Mission Board, and Baptist Theological Seminary at
Richmond to offer the conference.
What makes this stewardship conference unique? It targets twentysomethings,
and twenty-somethings will lead it. Rather than lecture-style
seminars, this conference offers an interactive experience. Young adults
will lead the seminars, and seminar leaders will have expertise in their
respective topics.
The conference will feature an interview with the owners of Alamo
BBQ. Alamo BBQ will provide dinner. (Richmond Magazine recently
recognized Alamo BBQ on its “top ten” list of local barbecue restaurants.)
